Mr. Ivaylo Dermendjiev talked about sports arbitration at an international arbitration conference in Sofia
Mr. Ivaylo Dermendjiev participated in an international conference on the topic of "Arbitration - new challenges", organized by the Sofia Bar Association, the Supreme Bar Council and the Bulgarian chamber of commerce and industry, which took place on 22-23 March 2019 in Sofia, Bulgaria. More than 150 Bulgarian and international attorneys, arbitrators and judges attended the conference. Mr. Dermendjiev, who is an arbitrator on the list of arbitrators of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland, presented the specificities of sports arbitration and shared with the other participants stories about some of the most interesting sports cases he has ever been involved in both as counsel and as arbitrator.
