Ivaylo Dermendjiev gave an interview for Economist magazine on 10.08. 2018, published in De Fakto Legal on 28.08.2018, in which he commented on the most recent topics of international commercial and investment arbitration in Bulgaria, such as:
- the effects of the almost unnoticed amendment to the International Commercial Arbitration Act on the cancellation of an arbitration award on grounds of public policy contradictions;
- behind-the-scenes agreements between the Bulgarian administration and major US agencies in connection with Bulgaria's procedural representation in arbitration proceedings brought by foreign investors before the Washington Court of Arbitration;
